Susan Evans is a certified clinical herbalist and owner of Chrysalis Herbs. She is a graduate of the advanced clinical program in western herbalism from the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies and has over 1,800 hours of clinical study and experience in the uses of medicinal plants. Prior to becoming an herbalist, she owned and operated Flowerscapes, an organic landscaping company serving the Denver metropolitan and foothills area. Susan is an author, Master Gardener and has been a volunteer naturalist for Jefferson County, Colorado. An avid cook, she loves exploring delicious ways to provide optimum nutrition with local, seasonal food and teaches classes on gardening, cooking, and wild edibles and medicinals at the Denver Botanic Gardens and several other venues.
