Blockprint: Birds and Plants with Hilary Lorenz - ONLINE
Printmaking is a medium used by artists to create original prints and multiples. Linoleum block printmaking, aka "relief printmaking," offers an engaging process to make unique and editioned prints on paper and cloth. Students will learn how to plan, design, carve, and print multiple images using a variety of papers and techniques. You will learn how to create textures, mix inks, and use the collage technique of chine-collé.
This Art Exploration course is also a Botanical Illustration elective. It is suitable for all artists. The course fee does not include materials.
