Sensory Garden Tours

Join us this summer in the Sensory Garden! The Sensory Garden at Denver Botanic Gardens is a special place that will engage your senses with bright colors, a variety of textures and soothing scents. Awaken your senses with surprise and delight as you are guided through various sensory stimulating experiences. The Sensory Garden is fully accessible with plenty of spaces to take a break in the shade.

These 30-minute tours are designed to connect visitors to the garden, stimulate the senses, promote socialization, cognition and overall well-being.

Each tour will adapt the amount of walking and standing to the needs of the participants.

Availability: Mid-May through the end of September; offered Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m., 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.

Duration: 30-minute tour for 12 participants

Cost: $90, $75 nonprofit (includes admission to the Gardens for a group of 12 participants plus staff)

Payment Information:

  • Payment is due upon booking.
  • Cancelations made at least one week prior to the program will receive a full refund.
  • Cancelations with less than one week notice (weather cancelations excepted) are not refundable.
  • If a cancelation is made by the Gardens, we’ll work with you to re-schedule your program.
