Tony Ortega’s artwork celebrates identity and traditions to form a bridge between Mexican and American cultures. This exhibition explores the Chicano experience in American culture, highlighting the role of place in connecting community. Inspired by his journeys across languages, cultures and ideologies, Ortega’s work combines expressionist colors with American urban and rural environments.
