Homeschool Days offer families the opportunity to explore plant-based themes through a variety of hands-on activity stations set up throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces of the Gardens. Each activity station provides homeschoolers and their grownups the opportunity to explore the day’s theme through hands-on investigations. Homeschool Days are designed for families with children ages 6-10.
Homeschool Make and Take Programs
Homeschool Make and Take Programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with natural materials and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies, you and your homeschooler provide the ideas and creativity! Homeschool Make and Take programs are designed for families with children ages 5 and up.
Seed to Table Series for Homeschoolers
The Seed to Table Program Series for Homeschoolers offers homeschoolers the opportunity to take an in-depth look at how plants grow. Participants plant their own seeds and explore their development over the span of five weeks. This program is designed for children ages 8-12.
