The Wild Side of Chatfield Farms Tour

Join Rebecca Hufft, Ph.D., Denver Botanic Gardens research scientist, on a tour of Chatfield Farms that highlights the Deer Creek Natural Area, its ecology and our restoration efforts.

Tour pricing (per person): $17, $15 Member, $13 Student. Tour participants do not need to purchase an additional ticket for general admission.

Chatfield Farms Docent-led Tours

With Deer Creek winding through the property, Chatfield Farms boasts a large natural area where you can encounter deer, birds and other wildlife. Within this natural setting, cultivated areas feature artistic gardens of native and introduced plants that thrive in our Colorado climate and delight the senses. Gain a glimpse into the past through historical buildings that date to the 1800s and observe how Chatfield Farms’ agricultural focus continues today with its current food-growing operation.

Explore Chatfield Farms with a knowledgeable docent by scheduling a tour for your group of 10 or more.

  • Tour pricing (per person): $14, $10 Student. Tour participants do not need to purchase an additional ticket for general admission.
  • Tours are 60-90 minutes long.
  • Tour scheduling is dependent on docent availability; please make reservations at least three weeks in advance.
