Fairies are our garden friends! Join us for our Winter Fairies Family Workshop and add a little whimsy to your day as you and your child delve into the enchanting world of garden fairies.

  • Sunday, Jan. 15, 10 a.m. – noon and 2-4 p.m.
  • Monday, Jan. 16, 10 a.m. – noon and 2-4 p.m.

During the workshop you will discover the many different kinds of fairies that help protect our natural environment as you use your imagination to craft a unique fairy for a miniature indoor container garden. You will use natural and manmade objects to create a fairy house and landscape for your garden.

Family Workshops at Denver Botanic Gardens are a great way for families to spend time together while discovering the beauty, diversity and importance of plants. Workshops offer families a hands-on opportunity to learn about the science and enchantment behind the plants in our everyday lives and explore the natural world. Classes are about two hours long and are designed for families with children ages 5-10.
