Spring Plant Sale
May 5-7
One of the longest-held traditions at the Gardens, this event features a huge variety of plants, as well as the Gardens’ horticulturists who are onsite to answer questions about gardening. Volunteer opportunities include selling plants, greeting shoppers and helping guests with purchases in different plant divisions.

Glow at the Gardens
Oct. 19, 20, 26 & 27
Glow at the Gardens lights up the night with hundreds of glowing jack-o’-lanterns and pumpkin displays. Volunteers assist with the setup of festive decorations or during the event with themed activities.

Día de los Muertos
Nov. 5
This ancient Mexican tradition celebrates the souls of those who have departed. Volunteers assist with workshops and activities involving sugar skulls, paper flowers, traditional face painting and more.

Blossoms of Light
Nov. 25 – Jan. 1, volunteer opportunities nightly
This family-favorite holiday tradition transforms the Gardens into a winter wonderland with glittering lights. Volunteers help guests check-in and provide wayfinding.

2016 Opportunities at Chatfield Farms

Corn Maze 
Sept. 16 – Oct. 30, every Friday, Saturday & Sunday
Our huge Corn Maze assumes a new shape every year at Chatfield to ensure plenty of twists and turns! Volunteers are needed to help check wristbands and facilitate other fun family activities.

Pumpkin Festival
Oct. 7-9, volunteer opportunities each day
Join us for this classic autumn event. There are snacks, arts & crafts, fun rides for kids and more. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals or groups and include pumpkin patch cashiers, pumpkin measurers, children’s activity assistants and more.

Trail of Lights
Nov. 25 – Jan. 1, volunteer opportunities nightly
A sparkling forest path winds its way through the Colorado countryside. Enjoy a peaceful, shimmering evening along the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Volunteer positions include greeting guests at the Hildebrand Ranch house and assisting with the photo booth.
