Thank you for your interest in the Chatfield Veteran Reintegration Program! Upon submission of your application, it will be sent directly to the program manager of the Chatfield Veteran Reintegration Program. All applications are considered confidential documents and will be treated as such. Please note that all candidates will be assessed equally and that discrimination of any sort is prohibited through the course of the application process and throughout the course of the program. Physical limitations or disability ratings will not exclude individuals from admittance into the program.
Once you complete the application, you can expect the following actions:
- Within one week of submitting your application you will be contacted by phone by the program manager for an initial interview and given the opportunity to ask questions, arrange a tour of the physical volunteer site before committing to the program (if desired), discuss the possible volunteer shift dates/times and any other concerns you may have regarding any aspect of the program.
- There are a limited number of positions available in the program. All applications will be reviewed and participant selections will be made no later than April 5, 2014. Each candidate will be informed (by email) whether or not they have been accepted into the program by April 10, 2014. If you apply to the program past these due dates, your application will only be considered for that calendar year if there are still volunteer positions available in the program.
- Candidates who have been accepted into the program are required to attend a mandatory orientation event at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield on May 3, 2014.
