It was William Morris and the Arts and Crafts and Aesthetic Movements of the early 20th Century that trail-blazed simplicity, craftsmanship and design inspired by nature. Applying art to function, the style produced objects that were both useful and beautiful, with the artist’s hand always evident. Learn about the principles of Arts & Crafts designs marketed through F. Steiner & Co, Morris & Co, Liberty of London and others, then make it your own. Working with colored pencils, create a botanical design with a strong repeat. See how to take the final step and have it made into fabric or wallpaper for a custom finish on your next project. Fee: $210 member, $265 nonmember. Prerequisites: Pencil I, Pencil II, Color Layering for Colored Pencil, Colored Pencil I

Class will appear sold out until Registration opens December 11, 2012, 9am.
