Workshop: Garden Spheres

Thursday, September 25, 2014 - 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
York Street

These spheres are inspired by Dale Chihuly’s Niijima Floats series. This class will make a layered “cake” out of a few colors of polymer clay, texturize the block and then use a razor to thinly slice the layers and smooth them onto a glass ornament. The spheres made in this class will float!

Participants are asked to bring a disposable pie tin or ceramic tile that can go in the oven to cure and finish the piece. First time clayers are welcome.

$39 members, $44 non-members, includes all materials.
