
DENVER BOTANIC GARDENS ANNOUNCES DATE FOR 2012 FÊTE DES FLEURS
DENVER—Denver Botanic Gardens’ 2012 Fête des Fleurs committee co-chairs, Amy Corrigan and Allison Perkins, today announced that the Fête des Fleurs gala will take place on Friday, Aug. 24.
This elegant, black tie dinner-dance, known as Denver’s premier summer social event, gives the Gardens an opportunity to invite its closest friends to enjoy an intimate evening in the splendor of one of the finest public gardens in the country. This gala contributes more than $200,000 each year to the Gardens’ Annual Fund. The Gardens is a nonprofit organization that relies on gifts and fundraising proceeds to help support its education, research, conservation and community outreach programs.
The 2012 Fête des Fleurs committee consists of a specially selected group of dedicated volunteers from the Denver community including: Amy Corrigan, Allison Perkins, Katie Agron, Liz Arnold, Barbara Baldwin, Christina Brickley, Kristin Bronson, Cristin Calamari, Meredith Calkins, Jen Connelly, Meredith Coors, Kelly Eisinger, Mary Elliman, Judy Grant, Christine Grawemeyer, Heidi Hammell, Betty Lynn Jackson, Leslie Johnson, Brooke Maloy, Jennifer Milo, Shannon Rapp, Mary Schaefer, Nancy Schotters, Amy Slothower, Merrill Smith, Nancy Stamper, Jenna Stapleton, Kelly Stava, Tammy Westerberg, Rosie Wiedenmayer and Karen Wolfe.
