Conservation Garden

Botanical Interest:

Rare, endangered, and endemic plants from Colorado's West Slope and the Four Corners area. Many of the plants featured in the garden are plants that our Research Department works with in the field, giving our visitors a glimpse into the important conservation work that we do.

It's a Fact:

Denver Botanic Gardens is a proud participant in the Center for Plant Conservation, contributing to restoration and seed banking efforts. The Conservation Garden highlights the marriage between horticulture and conservation research by using rare and endangered plants in an aesthetic manner. The garden serves as an area for our ex situ conservation efforts.
