Cleans, maintains and sets up public and service areas and equipment for visitors, employees and volunteers. Work areas assigned may include Housekeeping, Grounds Keeping and Set-ups. Ensures a positive presentation of DBG facilities for visitors and staff. Under general supervision, performs and maintains the external appearance of DBG. Acts as customer-oriented liaison between DBG and the public.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, maps and diagrams. Must also be able to read and understand MSDS labels. Strong interpersonal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Able to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize quickly. One year janitorial experience helpful, but not required. Two years general grounds keeping experience preferred. Light maintenance knowledge. Good customer service skills a must.
