night at the museum
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to enjoy the Gardens by moonlight as part of the city-wide Denver Arts Week celebration of the arts. Special guest for the evening at the Gardens is Denver Taiko, an organization committed to sharing Japanese drumming through performance.
It’s also your last chance to see this season’s signature exhibition, Kizuna: West Meets East, in its entirety. The exhibit brings together internationally-renowned artists Tetsunori Kawana and Stephen Talasnik who created ephemeral site-specific bamboo installations for the Gardens.
Indoors, view the Japanese-pop inspired paintings of Margaret Kasahara as she investigates the heavy topics of stereotypes and personal identity through the lightness of kitsch and humor.
