What are the dates & hours of the Corn Maze?
Our 2013 Corn Maze will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning Friday, Sept. 13. The Corn Maze will close on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Hours: Friday 4 - 9 p.m., Saturday Noon - 9 p.m., Sunday Noon - 6 p.m.
What is a Corn Maze?
Corn mazes are giant puzzles that are created through rows of corn. Pathways are cut into the corn to create an intricate design that creates a challenge to walk through with its numerous dead-ends and tricky pathways.
What should I bring and wear to the Corn Maze?
Good walking shoes, appropriate clothing (remember, you will be walking through a cornfield), sun screen, insect repellent, and a willingness to get lost! Please remember to bring a backpack or heavy-duty stroller for smaller children.
How long will it take me to go through the maze?
Approximately an hour to complete the maze.
Do you have restrooms?
Yes, there are portable restrooms.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit and debit cards. Food vendors accept cash only.
There will be a portable ATM available onsite.
Are pets allowed in the maze?
There are no pets allowed in the Corn Maze or on the grounds of Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. Feel free to visit our barnyard friends, which are located near the Corn Maze.
Can I get lost in the maze and not be found?
No, we have a security crew patrolling the maze at all times. They are there to help guide you through the maze and answer any questions you may have.
Are there places to eat and can we bring our own food? Will there be food vendors onsite?
You may bring your own picnic to enjoy on the grounds at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. There will be picnic tables available, however they are available on a first-come first-serve basis. There will also be vendors selling a variety of foods and harvest treats.
I am interested in privately renting the Corn Maze. Is that possible?
Yes, large groups can rent the maze during the week. Please contact Facility Rental at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield at 303-973-0206 for more information.
Is alcohol allowed onsite?
No, alcohol is not permitted on property at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.
Smoking is NOT permitted onsite.
