Q: What are the dates & hours of the Corn Maze?
A: Our Corn Maze is opened every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning
Friday, September 13. The Corn Maze will close on Sunday, October 27.
Hours: Friday 4-9 p.m., Saturday Noon-9 p.m. and Sunday Noon-6 p.m.

Q: What is a Corn Maze?
A: Corn mazes are giant puzzles that are created through rows of corn. Pathways are cut into the corn to create an intricate design as well as a challenging maze with numerous dead-ends and tricky pathways created to allude.

Q: What should I wear to the Corn Maze?
A: Good walking shoes and appropriate clothing. Weather can change very quickly at Chatfield. Please remember to bring a backpack or heavy-duty stroller for smaller children.

Q: How long will it take me to go through the maze?
A: Approximately an hour to complete the maze.

Q: Do you have restrooms?
A: Yes, there are portable restrooms.

Q: What types of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash and credit cards. Most onsite food vendors only accept cash.
There will be an ATM available onsite.

Q: Are pets allowed in the maze?
A: Unfortunately pets are not permitted onsite. Service dogs/animals are permitted.

Q: Can I get lost in the maze and not be found?
A: No, we have a security crew patrolling the maze at all times. They are there to help monitor the maze but can also answer questions.

Q: Are there places to eat and can we bring our own food? Will there be food vendors onsite?
A: There will be picnic tables available, but it is a first-come first-serve basis. There will also be vendors selling a variety of foods.

Q: I am interested in privately renting the Corn Maze. Is that possible?
A: Yes, large groups can rent the maze during the week. Please contact Facility Rental at Chatfield for more information. (720-865-4338)

Q: Is alcohol allowed onsite?
A: No, alcohol is not permitted on property at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.

Smoking is NOT permitted onsite.
