spring plant sale

Plant Sale at Denver Botanic Gardens The Gardens' Plant Sale will kick off the spring gardening season with more than 85,000 plants for sale!

This year, we will take you back to the basics – highlighting how to grow your own veggies, fruits, berries and herbs. Visitors can also choose from 12 different plant divisions, offering a variety of plants that can be grown in the most extravagant gardens or containers. Our own horticulture staff, industry professionals and volunteers will be on-site to give advice about container planting and the “must-haves” for all types of gardens. Think green and bring your own recycled boxes, wagons or carts to help carry your plant purchases.

While visiting the Gardens, guests can enjoy the 2009 signature exhibition, "Jurassic Gardens," which explores plant/animal relationships of prehistoric proportions!
