1. What is the best level of membership if I want to bring my grandchildren?
Members have several options--at the Family/General level you may bring up to six guests per visit. These may be your own children or grandchildren. See our list of all benefits per level of membership.

2. Can my childcare provider bring in my children on my card?
Denver Botanic Gardens offers a caregiver card option for $30 in addition to your regular membership. At the Family Plus/General Plus level of membership and above, this card is complimentary.

3. What is the 2008 tax deductibility of memberships?
Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. The IRS has issued guidelines affecting the tax deductibility of Denver Botanic Gardens memberships. Membership categories up to and including Four Seasons Memberships ($1,000) have no fair market value for tax reporting purposes. Please contact the membership office for information regarding Director's Circle and Garden Leader Memberships. Please consult your financial advisor regarding the tax deductibility of your membership.

4. How do I cancel my membership?
You may discontinue your membership at any time by e-mailing our membership department. Please note: membership fees are non-refundable.

5. As a member, when will I be able to purchase concert tickets?
Concert tickets are offered to members first. In 2008, members-only sales begin on April 30, 2008. Each level of membership is entitled to a specific sales date during priority week. See our list of ticket sale dates per membership level. Remember, by April 4, 2008 your membership must be active and current with an expiration date of April 30, 2008 or later to qualify for this sale period. Members will receive a Summer Concert Series 2008 brochure in the mail after April 16.

6. If I become a member after April 4, when/how can I purchase concert tickets?
If renewing or purchasing your membership ONLINE ONLY between April 4 and April 29, you may bring your online receipt to the on-site purchase concerts on the sales date for your membership level.

If renewing or purchasing your membership in-person or over the phone between Sat., April 5 and Wed., May 7, you will be eligible to purchase 2008 Summer Concert Series tickets beginning Fri., May 9 at the reduced member price online, in-person or over the phone.

If renewing or purchasing your membership Thurs., May 8 or later, you will be eligible to purchase 2008 Summer Concert Series tickets between May 9-11 at the reduced member price only at Denver Botanic Gardens’ gatehouse. You will not receive the reduced member price if you purchase tickets online or over phone.

7. How do I purchase concert tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in-person on the designated membership level sales date beginning on Wed., April 30, 2008.

8. I'm a member and a concert sold out before I could purchase a ticket. What do I do?
Denver Botanic Gardens Concert Series has increased in popularity to the point that membership does not guarantee a ticket to any given show. If concerts are a priority, please consider upgrading your membership to the Family Plus/General Plus and above levels before April 4. Please call us to upgrade your membership.

9. I became a member to get concert tickets and didn't get tickets to the show I wanted. I want my membership refunded.
Memberships are non-refundable and do not guarantee tickets to any event or concert.

10. How many tickets per show can I purchase as a member?
You may purchase up to six tickets per membership/per concert.

11. It rained on concert day and I didn't attend. Can I get my money back?
Concert tickets are non-refundable. Concerts are held rain or shine.
