PRESENTING SPONSOR: UMB Bank

Fete des Fleurs -- the annual black tie dinner dance at Denver Botanic GardensOn August 28, 2009, Denver Botanic Gardens' members and guests will gather for the 25th anniversary of the Fête des Fleurs. The elegant, black tie dinner-dance and auction is widely considered Denver's premier summer social event. On this evening, the Gardens opens its gates exclusively for Fête des Fleurs guests to enjoy leisurely strolls though the Gardens while sampling cocktails and scrumptious hors d'oeuvres. Dinner will be dining 'al fresco' under a tent with catering provided by Grand Hyatt Denver.

Event chair Brooke Bansbach Maloy and her committee have planned a spectacular evening with musical entertainment provided by Pro Entertainment. Several different groups will be playing with a theme of 'dancing through the decades.'

All proceeds from the Fête des Fleurs contribute to the Gardens' Annual Fund. The Annual Fund supports general operations and proceeds are used in the areas of greatest need for horticultural displays, education, outreach, research and conservation programs.
