WEEKEND TOURS
Stop by Denver Botanic Gardens at York Street on weekends and experience a one-hour guided tour of our various gardens.

Denver Botanic Gardens education tourDates:
Saturdays and Sundays year round

Times:
11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. based on guide availability.
Please call our Information Desk at 720-865-3585 to find out which tour time is being offered on the day you are planning to visit the Gardens. Tours are included in the price of admission.

 

OUTDOOR GARDEN TOURS
Wander among alpine wildflowers, stroll through an Asian Steppe and become enchanted by tranquil water gardens. Explore our diverse plant collections and the powerful connection we have with them.

Dates: April through October

 

BOETTCHER MEMORIAL TROPICAL CONSERVATORY TOURS
Enjoy an hour in a tropical paradise! From banyan tree roots to cloud forest orchids, journey through one of the most compelling tropical plant displays in the country.

Dates: November through March

Children's Secret Path at York Street

Children's Secret Path

Especially for kids: Get your hands dirty in the soil station!

It's a fact: The alligator drum and giant amadinda are musical instruments made from plants.

Botanical interest: Children are encouraged to interact with plants, including smelling fragrant chives (Allium schoenoprasum), touching lamb’s ear (Stachys byzantina) and soft artemisia (Artemisia schmidtiana ‘Silver Mound’).
