Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield includes nature trails, a wildlife observation area, display gardens, educational exhibits, a historical farm, a 19th century one-room schoolhouse, working beehives and picnic areas. Don't forget to bring your binoculars for some exceptional bird watching! Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield also hosts some of the Gardens’ largest and most popular events are hosted at Chatfield, including the Corn Maze and the Pumpkin Fest .

Hours
Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield is open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., except on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Admission
Admission is free for members of Denver Botanic Gardens. Others can enter for $5 per passenger vehicle. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No pets please.

Accessibility
The Visitor Center and portions of the nature trails are wheelchair accessible.

Especially for kids: Get your hands dirty in the soil station!

It's a fact: The alligator drum and giant amadinda are musical instruments made from plants.

Botanical interest: Children are encouraged to interact with plants, including smelling fragrant chives (Allium schoenoprasum), touching lamb’s ear (Stachys byzantina) and soft artemisia (Artemisia schmidtiana ‘Silver Mound’).
