Denver Botanic Gardens offers a wealth of exciting programs on a wide range of topics. Join us to develop new skills, acquire new tastes, meet new friends and travel behind the scenes at the Gardens. Hands-on workshops introduce you to projects and topics such as garden sculpture; making herbal vinegars, preserves, tinctures or cleaning products; edible wild plants and much, much more.

2009 brings new opportunities to explore fascinating topics such as paleo-botany and other dinosaur-related things.

We will be continuing our Rough and Tumble Road Trips – check our calendar for updates on brand new expeditions:

• Uinta Basin in May to look for penstemons and dinosaurs.
• Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming for alpine wildflowers and a little Wild West culture in July.
• Paonia-Hotchkiss area for organic farm tours and cooking classes in September.

Some of the Urban Homestead classes are returning. These classes are designed to help you grow your own food and pursue many other sustainable skills in your own backyard.
