Linda Fleming

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1945, artist Linda Fleming attended Carnegie Mellon University on a full scholarship. In 1968 she became one of four founding members of a new artist’s community in southern Colorado called Libre, where they built geodesic domes as studios and homes. While still maintaining her Colorado studio, Fleming is currently a professor of fine arts in sculpture and graduate studies at California College of the Arts, Oakland.
