York Street gardens will close at 3 p.m. on Oct. 26 and 27 to prepare for Glow at the Gardens.
Glow at the Gardens is sold out (no tickets available at the door).
The pumpkin patch at Chatfield Farms is closed for the season.
The melt-off seems terrifically quick after such a thorough snow storm. Spring will take hold before you know it. Now is a great time to watch a garden for changes between one day and the next. Come stroll through the Gardens and see the transformations right before your eyes.
Other ways to celebrate include gardening and green living programs. For gardeners interested in beginning new projects, Planting Design with Travis Beck will cover practical ways to plan success and draw up plans for their use. For non-gardeners, or even those who feel it wiser to wait for consistent warmth, different spring rituals might be requested: European Herbal Spring Cleanse with Susan Evans delves into the foods, herbs and preparations that comprise a traditional cleanse. And everyone is invited to Denver Botanic Gardens to stroll through the changing landscape.
